About Robertson's
South of downtown the Pandosy strip trades the height of the city core for something closer to a village high street: low-rise storefronts, apartments above and behind, and beach access a couple of blocks west. Robertson's sits in that stretch at 2801 Pandosy Street, in the kind of setting where shopping gets done on foot between a coffee, an errand and an hour at the water.
A clothing shop like this lives on what the buyer chose to bring in this season, so the useful question on a first visit is what the racks actually hold rather than what the name suggests. Sizing, fit and the range of a given line are worth asking about directly, and staff can usually tell you when fresh stock arrives and whether an item can be held or ordered in. Along this stretch, storefronts also tend to be flexible about alterations and exchanges, though terms differ from shop to shop, so ask before you buy.
Parking is the practical wrinkle in Pandosy. The strip is compact and the side streets fill up on hot afternoons when the beaches are busy, which in Kelowna means most of July and August. Coming in the morning or on a weekday makes the whole trip easier, and once you are parked the surrounding blocks give you enough to make the walk worthwhile. From the Lower Mission or downtown it is a short drive, though the lakeshore route slows badly through the summer.
