Clothing Stores
Seasonal clothing shop on Robinson Avenue in Naramata village, open daily from May through September.
Shades of Linen Clothing operates out of 156 Robinson Avenue in Naramata, on the same short stretch of the village that holds the general store and several of the other small shops residents and visitors pass on foot. Like much of the retail in Naramata, it runs on a tourist season schedule rather than a year round one, open daily from May through the end of September and largely closed the rest of the year.
Seasonal clothing shops are a fixture of small wine country villages that see a large swing between winter population and summer visitor numbers. Shops of this kind in similar villages typically stock casual, warm weather pieces suited to a day of winery visits or time at the lake, since that is the customer walking in the door for most of the months the shop is open. Running a shop for only part of the year also keeps overhead down in a village too small to support many full time retail rents.
Since the shop is closed for roughly half the year, checking that it is within its May to September operating window before making a special trip is worth doing, particularly for anyone visiting Naramata outside peak summer season for a winery trip and hoping to stop in as well.
