CC Orchards sits at 2119 Naramata Road, along the stretch where Naramata Road leaves Penticton and becomes the route up the bench, close enough to the boundary that it is effectively the first orchard a visitor passes heading north into Naramata. The operation is built around a single fruit, selling fresh cherries in season alongside dried cherries, cherry juice, jam and pickled cherries, plus a few less expected items such as cherry infused hot sauce and smoker bits for barbecuing.
Before wine took over the Naramata Bench, orchards like this one were the area's main agricultural identity, and a handful of working orchards, this one included, have stayed in fruit production rather than converting rows to vineyard. U-pick and we-pick access during cherry season is a common way for a small orchard to sell a highly perishable crop quickly without needing a large retail or wholesale operation, and it also gives visitors a reason to stop that has nothing to do with wine tasting.
Cherry season is short, so contacting the orchard ahead of a visit to confirm picking is open and which varieties are ready is more useful here than at a winery with a longer season. The orchard also hosts barn rentals and small events on site, which is worth asking about separately from the fruit side of the business.
