About Moxy Apparel
Clothing shops cluster where people walk, and the lower blocks of Bernard Avenue are the closest thing Kelowna has to a proper browsing street. Moxy Apparel is at 287 Bernard Avenue, a few doors along from the cafes and counters that keep the sidewalk busy, and a short stroll up from the waterfront parks at the foot of the hill.
Small apparel shops live or die on what they choose to carry, and that choice is rarely obvious from the outside. Some run seasonal buys that change every few weeks, some hold a tight core of basics and rotate around it, and most keep only one or two of a size in any given piece, which is why a garment seen once is not always there a week later. Exchange windows and return terms also vary from shop to shop. If something matters for a specific date, the practical approach is to go in early rather than late, and to ask directly how long a piece is likely to stay on the floor.
Downtown parking is metered on the street with short turnover, and the parkades a block back are the better option for a longer wander through several shops. Bernard is at its busiest through the hot valley summer, when visitors and residents share the same few blocks between the beaches and the restaurants. Spring and autumn are calmer and better for anyone who wants space in a small room. The street is flat and walkable end to end, so most people park once and cover the whole run in a single trip.
