About Estate Villa
Wilden is a forested master planned community in the hills above Glenmore, built around ponds, trails and newer single family streets, and Lochview Rd runs through that landscape. Estate Villa is found at number 328, which places it well up the slope from the valley floor and some way from the parts of Kelowna most visitors picture first.
Staying in a hillside residential area rather than beside the water changes the shape of a trip in ways worth thinking through before you commit. You trade the ability to walk to a beach or a restaurant for quiet, trees and a view, and you will be driving for everything: groceries, dinner, the lake. In return, the hills above Glenmore are genuinely peaceful, close to the trail networks, and no more than a short run down to the central neighbourhoods and the campus corridor to the northeast.
For any stay of this kind, the things to settle in advance are the domestic ones: how the rooms are arranged and how many people they sleep, whether there is any cooking facility, whether parking is on the property and how many vehicles it takes, how arrival and key collection work, and what the minimum stay is in the busy months. Ask about air conditioning as well, since Okanagan summers are hot and dry and hillside addresses catch the afternoon sun. Timing matters more here than in the city core: the summer weeks when the lake and the vineyards draw people to the valley fill first and stay full longest, while the short grey winter is quiet and far more flexible. Confirm the route and the last stretch of road too, because the streets up there can be a puzzle after dark.
