This part of West Kelowna was farmland long before it was a city. The benches and plateaus above the lake carried orchards, much of that ground turned into subdivisions over recent decades, and what remains in agriculture sits in pockets between the housing. Growing without conventional sprays asks more of a farm in a valley where heat, mildew pressure and insects all have to be managed by other means, and it tends to show in how a property is laid out and worked through the year.

Add extra time for the drive, since the bench roads wind more than the distance implies.
