About L'Oven
Lunch between errands is one of the small problems Westbank solves easily, since the historic core of the west side carries its busiest run of shops, services and places to eat. L'Oven is part of that stretch, at 2565 Main St, sharing its address with one other business, so it is worth looking for the right unit or entrance on arrival.
West Kelowna is a commuter city as much as a lakeside one. Many residents cross the bridge each morning for work or school in Kelowna, and the Westbank strip catches them on the way out and on the way home again. It also catches summer traffic heading down to Gellatly Bay or up the benches toward the wineries, and travellers carrying on north along Westside Road toward the smaller lakeside communities. A kitchen on this stretch of road sees all of that go past the window.
The name suggests a kitchen built around baking, and places like that often work through the day at their own pace, with what fills the counter changing as items sell out and new batches come through behind them. Anyone with a particular item in mind is better off calling first, and anyone ordering for a group or an occasion is better off giving as much notice as possible. It is also sensible to ask about seating, since some places in this line are set up for sitting in and others are built around taking away.
