About Oasis Inn
Finding a bed in Kelowna during the height of summer is a different exercise than finding one in October, and the Oasis Inn sits among the options along the Gordon Drive corridor, which carries traffic the length of the city from the centre down through the residential districts toward the Mission. The inn can be reached on 250-763-3657, with its own site at oasiskelowna.ca.
Booking a room in this city is largely a question of season. Between late June and early September the valley fills, rates climb across the board, and the rooms that go first are the ones with a second bed or a kitchenette. Outside that stretch the same city is quiet and easy to get into at short notice. Whenever you book, the things worth confirming directly are the ones that are easy to assume and expensive to get wrong: parking for a trailer or a boat, whether pets are welcome, the cancellation window, and how late the desk stays staffed if a flight runs long.
Position matters more here than a map suggests, because Kelowna is spread out and its districts are a genuine drive apart. From this corridor you are minutes from the downtown waterfront, the beaches and shops of Pandosy lie south along the same road, and Harvey Avenue crosses close by for the run out to the wineries or east toward Rutland and the highway. The airport sits north on the far side of the city, so allow more time than the distance implies in summer traffic. Visitors here for the lake should know that the best public access is usually a short drive rather than a walk.
