About Northern Reflections
Kelowna asks a lot of a wardrobe. Hot dry summers on the lake, a short damp winter that rarely commits to snow, and long pleasant shoulder seasons in between that are neither one thing nor the other. Northern Reflections trades from the shopping centre at 2271 Harvey Avenue, an address shared with dozens of other businesses, and the store can be reached on 250-860-5873.
Shopping for clothing in person still beats the screen on the two things a photograph cannot settle, which are fit and fabric weight. If you are making the trip, the useful questions are whether the size range you need is on the floor or only in the system, whether alterations can be arranged, and what the return window looks like on sale items, since that is often shorter than the regular policy. Staff at a centre location can usually check stock over the phone before you drive across town.
The centre sits on Harvey Avenue below the Dilworth hillside, near enough to the middle of the city to be roughly equidistant from Rutland, the Mission and downtown. That convenience has a price in July and August, when Highway 97 traffic through Kelowna slows to a crawl and the lot fills with visitors as well as residents. A store page is carried on the shopping centre site at orchardparkshopping.com. Weekday mornings are the calm end of the week here, and in the off season the whole errand takes a fraction of the time it does at the height of summer.
