About Neu Movement
Movement studios tend to hide in plain sight, in light commercial buildings rather than on main streets, and 1974 Kane Road in Glenmore is that kind of address. Neu Movement works from a unit there, sharing the building with a neighbouring business, which is the normal arrangement along this stretch of the valley floor where small operators take a bay each.
What separates one training space from the next comes down to how sessions are actually run, so ask a few questions before signing anything. Is the floor set up for group classes, small group coaching, or one to one work? Is there an assessment before the first session? Do you pay by class, by block or by month, and what happens to unused sessions if you travel or pick up an injury? Smaller studios are often flexible on that last point, but terms vary enough between them that it should never be assumed.
Glenmore suits this sort of business. It sits in the middle of the city rather than at one end, so the drive is short from downtown, from Rutland across the north, and from the newer streets climbing toward Wilden and the hills above. Parking in these commercial pockets is generally at the door, which matters more than it sounds when you are carrying a bag and the January dark comes early. Kelowna winters are short and grey rather than deep, so a warm room with a proper floor keeps training going through the months when the trails above town are sloppy underfoot.
