Lakeview Heights sits above the water on the west side of Okanagan Lake, close enough to Westbank for errands and close enough to the bridge that plenty of parents carry on into Kelowna for work after drop off. That commute shapes a great many family routines here. West Kelowna grew quickly, turning orchard land on the benches and plateaus into subdivisions, and demand for early years spaces has grown alongside the housing.
Montessori programs generally follow a prepared environment approach, with mixed age groups, child led work periods and materials laid out so children can choose them and put them back independently. In practice the differences between one program and another matter more than the label.
