About Co-op
Road grime in this part of British Columbia has seasons of its own. Winter sand and salt off the Trans-Canada, the dust of a dry August on the gravel roads out toward South Canoe, and the film that settles on anything parked under trees all give a vehicle a hard year. Co-op sits at 3100 10 Avenue Northeast in Salmon Arm and can be reached at 250-832-4457.
A touchless wash does its work with high pressure water and detergent rather than brushes or cloth, which is why people with newer paint, a wrapped vehicle or a soft clear coat tend to prefer it. The trade-off is that heavily baked-on dirt sometimes wants a pre-soak or a second pass. Bay height is the other thing to check before pulling in with a truck, a canopy or a roof rack, and it is worth knowing whether an undercarriage rinse is part of the wash, which matters far more in February than in July.
Salmon Arm being the service centre for a wide surrounding region, this end of town is where a lot of errands get bundled together. The commercial blocks near the highway corridor keep most of the larger stores within a short drive of each other, so a wash slots easily into a trip that also covers groceries and fuel. Boat owners have their own reason to think about it: a summer of launching on the Shuswap means a trailer that has been in the lake repeatedly, and a rinse afterward is cheap insurance for the running gear.
