Third Generation Painters
About Third Generation Painters
Vernon painters who work Penticton homes inside and out, from full exterior repaints and pergola staining to cabinets done flat on a bench.
Booking an estimate with Third Generation Painters is not a form and a wait. Brook Nullmeyer takes the call, arranges the visit and turns up himself, and he asks that you be home for it. Thirty to sixty minutes is normal. Longer if the house has been added to twice, shorter if it is one bedroom and a hallway.
What happens in that half hour is mostly looking and asking. Which walls have been repainted since you moved in, whether the trim was ever primed, how the deck was last treated, what the ceilings are like above the kitchen. It is free, there is no obligation attached to it, and the number that follows is built from what was seen rather than from a square footage table.
Pricing comes as a standard labour wage rate plus materials, so you can see what the hours cost and what the product costs. If you would rather have one figure to budget against, ask for a flat rate quote and you will get one. Materials arrive through a contractor partnership with North Okanagan Paint and Window Coverings, and the twenty to thirty percent discount that comes with it is passed along to you rather than kept.
Be straight with yourself about the drive, though. This is a Vernon business, and the ground it covers week in and week out is the North Okanagan, from Coldstream across to the SilverStar foothills and north as far as Armstrong. Penticton is well south of that. Raise it on the call and find out what is realistic before you get attached to a start date.
For the rooms themselves, see interior repainting; for siding, trim and soffit, see exterior repaints. The number is 250-878-1702.

Where to shop in Penticton: small, walkable and mostly local
Penticton's shopping is smaller than Kelowna's and more its own thing: a Main Street of independents, specialty food shops that outclass their size, and Cherry Lane covering the mall tier.
