Third Generation Painters
About Third Generation Painters
A Vernon painting crew that takes on interior and exterior work in Kelowna, from sun-baked siding and trim to kitchens, hallways, and refinished cabinets.
Cabinet refinishing is the job Kelowna callers ask about most often, and it is worth understanding before you price it. A kitchen starts around $4,000. The doors and drawer fronts come off and get sprayed away from the house, while the boxes and the face frames are sprayed where they stand, which is why the room stays usable for most of the run. Matte, satin and semi gloss are all on the table. Most kitchens take one to two weeks from the day the hinges come off.
The coatings are cabinet specific rather than wall paint in a different can, and they come from Benjamin Moore like everything else Third Generation Painters puts on a surface. Brook Nullmeyer quotes the work himself, sends the invoice himself and answers the phone himself, so there is nobody to relay a question through if the colour needs rethinking halfway.
Now the honest part about geography. This is a North Okanagan company based in Vernon. Its regular ground runs through Greater Vernon, Coldstream, Okanagan Landing and the SilverStar foothills, reaching out to Enderby, Armstrong and Lake Country, with select jobs further afield in Sicamous, Salmon Arm and Canoe. Kelowna is south of all that. Work down here is possible and worth asking about, but treat it as a conversation rather than an assumption, and settle the travel before you settle the colour.
If the kitchen is the whole project, the detail sits under cabinet refinishing. If the outside of the house is what is really bothering you, exterior house painting covers the prep sequence and the finish coats.
Whatever the project, the estimate is free and unhurried, thirty to sixty minutes with you there to point things out. Brook takes those calls directly on 250-878-1702.
