Optometrists in Armstrong

Optometry practices and optical retailers: eye examinations, prescription glasses and contact lenses, children's vision testing, dry eye and specialty lens fitting, and the dispensing opticians who fill a prescription written elsewhere. Listings carry address, phone, website and posted hours plus the neighbourhood. Where the practice publishes it, the listing notes whether eye exams are performed on site by an optometrist or the business is optical retail only, whether appointments can be booked online, whether direct billing is offered, and whether same-day or in-house lens fitting is available. The distinction between a practice with an optometrist on site and a retail optical counter matters more than the storefront suggests, since only the former can perform the exam. It is the first thing the listing tries to make clear. In British Columbia, optometrists are registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. Basic eye exams are covered by MSP for some age groups; the practice can confirm what applies.
